Biography

Ryan Farley is an artist currently living and working in Bloomington, Indiana. He holds an MFA from the School of Art, Architecture and Design at Indiana University. He has previously been an Associate Instructor of printmaking and has served as the research, teaching, and printing assistant to the head of printmaking at Indiana University. His artworks exhibit both nationally and internationally, from San Francisco to Serbia. He was recently granted the honor to exhibit in the Premio Combat Prize 2018 Finalists Exhibition in Livorno, Italy under the graphic arts category. His prints are included in both national and international collections. Ryan holds current memberships with the California Society of Printmakers, Southern Graphics Council International, Mid-America Printmaking Council, and The Boston Printmakers. Guided by his experiences and a multifaceted study of human connection, he brings awareness to and explores manifestations of interpersonal connectivity and the implications those manifestations have in the greater human experience.
